In my last post we thought about being immersed in God being like a fish immersed in water.
The Christian Scriptures, along with the writings of major religious traditions, teach that God is love (1 John 4:7).
If God is love, and we are immersed in God, then we are immersed in the love of God.
There is nowhere we can go that we are not immersed in God’s love!
There is nothing we can do that will cause God to stop loving us!
God’s love loved us into being and sustains our life!
What’s your experience of the love of God? Let’s talk! You can reach me at www.threelisten.com.

Jim, I have looked over your “threelisten” site and see that you present a message stating that our existence is rooted in God. However, I do not see any mention of our need to be taken from a position of being spiritually dead to becoming spiritually alive, through accepting Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. Where do you stand on this issue?
Victor, thank you for your comment. I follow Jesus, you do too. Jesus taught Love that does not discriminate between who is in and who is out. Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel wrote, “We worry more about the purity of dogma than about the integrity of love.” Jesus asks me to love and not worry if people believe like I do, and leave the worry over people’s eternal destiny to God. Peace to you.
